Our CNC milling service capabilities
From prototyping to full production runs. Our 3-axis, 3+2-axis and full 5-axis milling centers will provide high precision& quality parts to meet your requirements.
Can't determine whether 3-axis, 3+2-axis or full 5-axis machining is best for you? Upload your CAD files for free quotes and manufacturability reviews to identify any features that are difficult to machine.
3-axis and 3+2 axis CNC milling machines have the lowest start-up machining costs. They are used to produce parts with relatively simple geometries.

Available surface finishes for CNC machining
Surface finishes are applied after machining and can change the appearance, surface roughness, hardness and chemical resistance of the produced parts.
As machined (Ra 3.2μm / Ra 126μin)
As printed MJF parts are typically gray in color and have a smooth surface, without visible layers, and a powder texture.
Smooth machining (Ra 1.6μm / Ra 63μin)
Smooth machining is like an ‘As machined’ finish but with slightly less evident machine marks. Parts are machined at a lower feed, no hand polishing is applied.
Fine machining (Ra 0.8μm / Ra 32μin)
Finer-looking machining obtained either through higher-precision machines, lower feeds, sharper tools, or a combination of all the above. Machining marks are less evident.
Polishing (Ra 0.8μm / Ra 32μin)
Parts are manually polished in multiple directions. Surface is smooth and slightly reflective.
Electroless Nickel Plating
Parts are machined to Ra1.6µm and electroless nickel plated. Ideal for wear abrasion and corrosion resistance, not for cosmetic purposes.
Bead Blasted + Anodized type II (Glossy)
Parts are bead blasted, anodized type II and bright dipped. Results in glossy color. Ideal for cosmetic parts needing an increase in corrosion resistance.
As machined + Anodized type II
Parts are anodized (type II) directly after machining. The most cost-effective anodizing option; ideal for non-cosmetic, functional parts. Used to improve wear and corrosion resistance.
Chromate Conversion Coating
Parts are machined and a chromate conversion coating is applied. Ideal to increase the corrosion resistance of the part while maintaining its conductive properties. RoHS compliant.
Bead blasted + Anodized type II (Matte)
Parts are bead blasted and anodized type II. Ideal for increasing the corrosion resistance of the part. Results in naturally matte colors. For glossy colors, please select the bead blasted + glossy anodizing option.
Bead blasted
Parts are bead blasted with glass beads which results in a grainy texture and reduced machining marks.
Brushed + Electropolished (Ra 0.8μm / Ra 32μin)
Parts are brushed and electropolished. Ideal to reduce the micro-roughness of the part.
Black oxide
Applicable on steels, black oxide is a conversion coating used to improve corrosion resistance and minimize light reflection.
CNC Machining Tolerances
We follow ISO 2768 standards for CNC Machining.
